* “No app-set cap” means Chronicle does not impose an artificial application limit. Provider API constraints, fair-use, and underlying infrastructure controls apply. Channels are operational routes; connectors are install targets from the catalog. Chronicle never charges metered conversation overage.

Terms / plain language

Answers procurement can quote.

Capacity, channels versus connectors, support, controls, and how paid onboarding works — without hidden commercial language.

01How does conversation capacity work on each plan?

Pilot includes 25 handled conversations per month and pauses at the limit. Handler uses fair-use capacity without metered conversation overage. Operation uses fair-use capacity without metered conversation overage. Enterprise uses fair-use capacity without metered conversation overage. Metered conversation overage is not part of Chronicle's commercial model; provider, infrastructure, fair-use, and contract controls still apply.

02What does “no app-set numeric cap” mean?

Chronicle does not impose a numeric application limit for that entitlement. Provider, infrastructure, fair-use, and contract controls still apply, so it does not mean unbounded infrastructure or provider capacity.

03How many workflows can each plan use?

Pilot: 0 workflow definitions / 0 active. Handler: 10 / 3. Operation: 50 / 20. Enterprise: 500 / no app-set numeric cap active.

04What is the difference between channels and connectors?

Channels are operational message and voice paths (Voice, Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Slack, and Teams). Connectors are installable provider or account boundaries from the catalog that carry those channels. Builtin web needs no connector. Carrier map: twilio carries WhatsApp, SMS, and missed_call; meta carries WhatsApp; resend carries Email; vapi carries missed_call. Connector install eligibility comes only from each catalog entry's minimum plan — not a second matrix — and managed-connector / location counts have no app-set numeric cap on every plan.

05Which automation and control features are included?

Pilot includes none. Handler includes auto-send, calendar write, and custom workflows. Operation includes auto-send, calendar write, custom workflows, and custom messaging templates. Enterprise includes auto-send, calendar write, custom workflows, custom messaging templates, customer-owned connectors, dedicated deployment eligibility, SSO + RBAC, and retention and region controls.

06What support tier comes with each plan?

Pilot includes Community support, Handler includes Standard support, Operation includes Priority support, and Enterprise includes SLA design.

07How is Enterprise billed?

Enterprise is $600 per month and is monthly-only. It uses fair-use capacity with organization controls and no application-level conversation overage meter. Enterprise is onboarded by our team against an order form and invoiced directly — Chronicle does not process cards in-product.

08How do paid plans get set up?

Pilot is free and self-serve — sign up and your workspace opens immediately. For Handler, Operation, and Enterprise you request access from the pricing page: if you are signed out, Chronicle keeps your selected plan and billing interval and returns you here after sign-in to complete the request. Once your request is logged, our team follows up from clients@chronicles.systems to confirm the order form and invoice. Billing is sales-assisted; no card is entered in-product and no third-party checkout overlay is used.
